Whitework & Meditation Stones
A Collaboration with Jason Antol. The WHITEWORK Series is built from simple chalk drawings and a collaborative concept. The unlit pieces appear as pure opaque white vessels. When lit from within by neon tubes the vessels take on a multi-hued glow changing the piece entirely.
The same is true of the MEDITATION STONES, to the right and below; appearing dark with distinctive markings when unlit they blossom when lit.
Reflections & Meditation Coils
A collaboration with Henry Levine the pieces are complex and able to hold weight. No glue is used to hold any of the spheres or rods in the work. The illuminations are sheltered in clear glass domes that protect and preserve the works.
The Toys
WHIMSY
A collaboration with sculptor Tom Sherman, THE TOYS combine actual toy pieces and background layers of hand cut paper. Lit only with red and or blue tubing the works explore the capacity to use diffused light.
